Email notifications won't stop

I've tried everything to disable them from hitting my inbox, from unsubscribing from the threads and setting preferences in the admin panel to not receive them. I get an email each time someone posts in a thread that I have. Is there something I'm just missing?

Go to usercp/general settings/Default Thread Subscription Mode = do not subscribe
Then go to usercp My Subscriptions/Subscriptions and delete any in there
