Increasing avatar size

I am trying to increase the size for members avatars so they appear bigger in their forum post bit or whatever it's called. Any help on how to do this? For the record I have gone into the usergroups and increased the numbers in sizes to to no avail if that is the right way to do it.

You probably have increased the possible size of user's avatars. This means users can upload bigger avatars from now on. It does not, however, make existing avatars bigger. You can't simply upscale small avatars - they'd very likely look ugly. Your users need to upload new, bigger ones.

I believe you are spot on I had assumed it would have automatically adjusted pre existing avatar sizes but like you said that is not the case. I created a test account after after adjusting the sizes and the avatar was bigger than the other members avatars which is what was requested. I thank you for your reply and your assistance.
