A week ago my forum RSS feed stopped recognizing or adding new posts to the RSS feed. I've added no new mods to the site. In an effort to rule things out I have made sure the forum is up to 4.2.2 and that still did not fix the issue.
Any suggestions on how to kickstart the RSS feed again?
By default the RSS feed contains only threads that were created within the Thread Cutoff setting (in the admincp under External Data Provider options). It looks like the default value is 30, so if you've had no new threads in the past 30 days, that could be the problem.
You can check that by adding "&lastpost=1" to the end of the url, that way it will include threads based on the last post date.

Well I have had posts today and yesterday so I doubt the date thing is the issue. However by adding your suggestion above it does display all current posts in the feed. So that appears to have fixed the problem.
Thanks.

But without the lastpost parameter, it's using the thread *create* date, so even if there are recent posts they won't show up unless the thread was created within 30 days. I don't know why it's like that - I suppose the idea is to share the new topics being discussed, and not every reply.

Okay so then the fix isn't really solving my problem. Any other clues why the new threads would show in the past few days but no replies in the RSS feed?

I see the last posts to show up were on Jan 28th.
What do you have set up in the settings, ACP --> Settings --> Options --> External Data Provider

I would start by disabling all mods and see if it works then. I know you said you did not add any, but it's worth a shot.
