Colored tabbed column sections

I cant share what site this is, but some of you may know it. im not looking to RIP the style of the site (or else i just would, but i dont believe in ripping peoples work.) what i am looking for is the concept of this style.

each section has its own color, and each category has its own tabbed sections with forums in columns where each tabbed section also has its own colors. i have taken a look at the source code, but they have it all compressed and blah thats a pain lol, but im just wondering how can i get the same type of results.

im mostly interested in the colors per section, but i'd like all 3 the columns i can manage, but i never can seem to get columns working with any tabbed plugins... any tips and help to achieve this type of setup would be greatly appreciated

Just ask Hoxxy, im shore he'll tell you how he done it...

It is a nice custom skin tho, i was blown away when i first saw it.

I like the fact that when you search, the results are colored for what vb version the threads are from.

right! and yeah hoxxy would he's helpped me alot over the years, and i appreciate all his help. I'm just a bit impatient lol so figured i'd ask here =)
