Attachments to file system.

I am currently trying to move my attachments to the file system from the database.

I created a folder just above public_html and gave it 777 permissions.

When I try to move the files it asks me for the folder path and I enter /attachments

When I then try to move I get the error message that it could move the files and I should check the permissions. What am I doing wrong?

You need to enter the full path it will be something like /home/***/public_html/attachments

OK, that's great, thanks, but what do the *** represent? Can you give me an example of what might go there?

As far as I can see there is nothing between "home" and "public_html". Have I overlooked something?

Your webhost should be able to tell you the full system path
