Guests and widgets in cms

I have created a recent thread widget for the cms. The user permissions dont let guests view thread content for that forum but i still want them to see the widgets.

Is this possible?

The code for the widget respects permissions. So, you would either need to change the widget code, or create a PHP widget that does what you want.
