Is it possible to have forum blocks on both sides?

I did a little searching and cannot seem to find a decent way to do this?

I'd like to have like html forum blocks on one side and Recent Threads/Blogs/Etc on the other side?

Is this possible? I know VB4 only does one side at the moment.
