Hello there. I wish I could do this myself as I took a few classes in college about Graphic Design, and know enough to get around Photoshop, but I am so used to vBulletin 2 and 3 and their style editor when I now go into vB4 and try to change just basic colors it looks to be way more complicated then it was in vB3.

I don't need you to design anything. I don't need any graphics made. I Just need the basic vBulletin 4.2.2 Default Style to have it's original colors changed to the colors of this vBulletin 2. I have the vBulletin 4 Publishing Suite, so it comes with Blog, and CMS.

I understand that vB2 and vB4 are very different. But a great color pallet doesn't change. You should be able to just take a screen shot and use the eye dropper in Photoshop, or perhaps use "View Page Source" if you want actual HTML color hex numbers.

I understand you're time is impotent, and you will most likely want to get paid for this. But I also know that knowing where the templates to edit are, this should be a pretty easy and straight forward job for you.

Let me know how much you would want to do something like that. If it's reasonable I just might do it.

(I put this in the unpaid section, as if someone is willing I would be very grateful for it to be free)

Thanks for you're any reply in advance.

This article might help you out since it sounds like your sorta familiar with how to edit but was simply unsure what templates or variables to edit - https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=256370

I will check out that thread, thank you for the suggestion.

I uploaded a screen shot. Not sure why that URL wasn't working.

Does anyone know when they changed to the new Style Coloring system? Was it 4.0?

Sadly I've noticed not many vB4 sites are on wayback machine... vB3 sites are just fine but not vB4.

Yes it was in 4.x.

So in vB3 you would simply edit templates OR the MAIN CSS in the style manager for said style.

^ Now in vB4 you edit templates AND/OR the CSS templates (DO NOT EDIT MAIN CSS in vB4 styles, it will not work and in fact should have a note at the top saying it is deprecated) AND/OR the Style Variables.

My site is entirely default style with color changes only, all done with just using the style variables and default images.

It's rather un0occupied right now as I am working on an idea for creating a negative image style from the default.
