We use a 30 day period for active members and that probably reflects the frequency of use of most of our members. However, we have an organization that sponsors our forums and we have slightly different content for our organizational members and members who only participate in our Message Board.
I would really like to have the WGO display of Active Members be broken down by usergroups that one could name in a set of options.
I think I could do this myself with just a bit of guidance.
I would start by writing a plugin to gather the additional stats and then making some edits to Forum Home in the WGO box to demonstrate the capability. If it works and seems useful, then I would try to package it as a product in an XML file.
Does anyone else think this would be interesting.
Does anyone have a suggestion on the hook to use to grab the stats? Maybe it would be better to have a cron job that built the stats once a day and put them in storage for display.
