Constant double-posts 4.2.2

Runing 422 and we're having a problem with constant double posts. I tried disabling all my plugins but it doesn't seem to have an effect on the issue. I notice it with myself more than others, so I'm not sure if it's related to being an admin but...honestly I don't know where to begin in fixing this

And to compound the issue, VB.com now has an open bug ticket here:

I suspect VB.com is no hurry to get this fixed, as they are promoting Ver 5. So perhaps one of the VB.org people can help with a fix.
