First Open folder in your pc and then you see 2 more folder in it
First. Upload
2nd: XML or vb4 etc
Open you upload folder and then you see other folder example
[DBTech] vBArcade v2.0.2 [Lite] ==> Open this ==> Open Upload Folder ==> see files and folder. Like AdminCP/Include/Dbtech
Now Open Cpanel and find AdminCP folder and upload all files in Admincp folder
Next Find Include folder
Upload all files in Include folder
Dbtech Folder == Make a Zip file and upload in Public_html and then extract
sorry for my Bad english :)

You have to follow the upload instructions for the mod. Most are packaged so that all you have to do is up them to the forum root and then install the xml in plug ins and products in the admincp.

unzipping it to the forum root is more than likely what you are looking to do, but do post up a link to your site as well as the mod for us to better help you.

Oh, also, a good ftp client like filezilla is better than doing it through cpanel.. We can help you get that set up as well, it's pretty easy and much easier to work with when installing mods and working on your site.

Are you at least familiar with file extraction? Do you have a zip program?

In aswer to your question, if you are talking about your forum software then extract it where you want your forum so either in public_html so you forum will start at say www.mysite.com or make a folder called forum and extract it there, you forum will then be www.mysite.com/forum.

If you had a pc or a way i could of talked to you with skype but the remote desktop u wanted me to use wont work for me as it does not let u see how to upload files or how to install them and i am sure you can get to a pc or laptop after all it is 2014. Try using google or youtube or find a video on vbulletin.com there are plenty there that will help u

I'm talking about installing mods on my forum... do i install In legacy file manager or just file manager? It doesn't matter they both do the same although Legacy allows you to upload multiple files at once.

Ideally you should be uploading files via ftp as it's intelligent and loads to the same hierarchy, this is why people who build mods will add a folder called upload, when you open it there may be a folder marked admincp and one marked includes (for instance), when uploading these files via ftp the software will automatically put them in the correct folders and ask if you want to overwrite the files if needed :)

Filezilla is free and easy to use watch this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MCGctsHKizw
