I saw a board this week that had the user number, AND the number of visitors that visited. As I get a TON of visitors from around the world, how would I set mine up the same way?

That Modification is really great, the numbers on forumhome are clickable and when clicked load a detail page that is out of this world.

I cannot get this to install to save my butt.

I put it in my directory, but when I go to ACP to link to it, the uploader says no file present.
I really want this bad, I know I have 1000 visitors a day

Hmmmmmmm

SteveI don't understand the bolded.

The instructions are to upload the bitfields folder to your server at /includes/xml/

Then, via AdminCP upload the product XML file using product manager.

And then set the permissions in options, as they are not set by default.

I go to the manager for plugins. I have added the file to the includes XML folder. When I go to admin CP to add/import product it says upload or import file. I try to upload track-guests.xml and I get a message saying No file uploaded and no local file found.

It is possible my board is snafu'd and simply will not upload. I also tried to manually upload the file, I can path right to it and I get the same message.

Ideas?

Thank you

:)

SteveGot your PM and checked this. We must make sure the attached file is loaded at /includes/xml

Get the attachment and upload it to your server in the location described then we'll try this again.

The product XML is going out and looking for this file on your server and can't find it.

ALSO: Confirm we both downloaded the same product, version 4200.zip of the hack.

It is there, we shall see now

I still get your same error: No file uploaded and no local file found.

I am pretty sure this means the product XML still can't locate the bitfield XML on your server.

I get a 404 not found error here:

http://www.aircraftmechanic.org/includes/XML/bitfield_trg.xml

Now when it says upload product I am going to path the bitfield_trg in the includes. I did that and now it says invalid specified

./includes/xml/bitfield_trg.xml

./includes/xml/bitfield_trg.xmlBecause it's not there?

bitfield_trg.xml must be in the XML folder on your server, before we can upload the product file, which is a separate XML.

Load the bitfield file via FTP not product manager.

Can I path to the Track-guests.xml on the server?Hey man, I mean please give me the exact URL you are using to access that bitfield file. The one I posted earlier is the correct one and nothing is there.

And yes you can try uploading Track-guests.xml via FTP to the XML folder then we can try to import to product manager that way. But please let me have that link first.

bitfield would be
/includes/xml/bitfield_trg.xml

That's weird because that is the exact link I posted earlier, that still delivers the 404.

So i must not have ALL of the path. Is it more like, youraircraftsite/forum/includes/xml/bitfield_trg.xml ??

EDIT: You have not set any permissions at all yet!

AdminCP>Usergroup Manager

Then choose a usergroup and click "go" to edit, scroll all the way down to the bottom of that page and see "Guest Tracking Permissions"
