When I try to load my forum via its URL, the first page is always the CMS "Front Page", only when I click "Forums" link in the header, I will switch to the forums. Is there a way to load the forum list as the first page automatically?

Would you not use the Navigation manager to do that?

Settings - navigation - and set it there?

That's how I turned off the what's new from coming up first if I remember right.

Sorry but I cannot find there is such a setting. I am using vBulletin 4.0.5. And what is "navigation manager"?

4.0.5? Oh wow, I think you need to set that in the index.php file then. You need to comment out the redirect to content.php and then uncomment out the line to redirect to forum.php. The instructions are actually in the index.php.

Thank you so much. It seems that I am using an out-dated version. Can I get free upgrade to the latest version? And how to do that?

If you have a vB4 license, then you should be able to download the latest version. If you only have a vB3 license, you would need to upgrade your license in order to download the latest version of vB4.
