Just converted from phpBB3, have some questions..

Hey, I just converted a forum from phpBB3 to VB 3.8.4

My question is, now all the pages that are indexed in Google still direct to the phpBB3 URLs, so I'm assuming I'll lose a lot of traffic now since they just go to a 404 error page now.

Is there anything that can be done about this? This is my first time converting a forum, so I'm clueless on all this. Please talk slow.. lmao

Get a redirection script. 301 redirect those old urls to the new ones..

If you have a massive forum, at least try to 301 redirect the categories at the minimum..

Even then that's a lot of 404 errors you don't want.
