Facebook & Twitter Icons not Displayed

VB 4.2.2, no plugins, vanilla.

Did everything by the book to make Twitter and Facebook links to my site. (I guess it was from the VB professionals)

The icons are not displayed.

What else is needed?

I've tried following those instructions on 4.2.2 and they work for me, you do know they only appear on the forum thread display pages ?

Check that you have uploaded the images to the correct directory, and the filepath is correct.

The instructions say the directory has to be /images/misc
(which does exist).

It has to be

/public_html/forums/images/misc

Classic mistake, most people don't put the code into another file, they install it into the public_html file, which means your URL looks better.
