I have a load of mods in my settings menu, some of which were uninstalled several years and two vBulletin versions ago. The mods themselves are uninstalled, they're no longer in the Product Manager, but they do clutter up the general Settings menu.
What's the easiest way to clean up that menu?

FTP into admincp and delete the files for the old hacks there.

Thanks. Is that all those files in the admincp do?
I can't see matching files for several of them; is there anywhere else that settings menu is populated from?

If you re-download the mods that you want gone, you can cross reference the right files to delete

Some of them are so old that's not possible; others have expired licenses, or the person/company selling them is no longer around, or I simply can't find the mod any more. It's a bit of a pickle!

Don't forget to backup first!.. Then look at original vb files and the hack you are keeping and delete the rest.
