I did a Google search on my board and I saw this in a large number of the results:

"If this is your first visit, be sure to check out the FAQ by clicking the link above. You may have to register before you can post: click the register ..."

How can I clean this up?

That is probably cause you don't let Unregistered / Not Logged In the following permissions:

Can View Forum
Can View Thread Content
Can View Others' Threads

All of those are set to "yes".

It's just a guest notice that displays to unregistered members on your site. You can alter the wording by editing the notice default_guest_message, or disable that completely.

You will have to wait for Google to pick up the changes, there is no way to simply change what Google chooses to show in its results.
