hello frnds,my databse is v bulky.i have deleted around 50000 attachements from acp but its still 60 GB.i dont know whats is there in it.is there a safe trick to delete and free up space without affecting forum performance.

One choice is to change your storage type:
http://www.vbulletin.com/docs/html/attachment_storage.

Make sure you have a solid backup, if you decide to go this route.

hello,thnx for the quick reply,but i have tried this already and my attachement are stored in the filesystem.
that didnt free up disk space.
i m running my forum on a vps plan and i have to pay extra amount every month for this 20 GB extra storage.

Don't let any groups upload attachments any more tell them to use some kind of hosting site like imageshack

thats alright for future but i want to free up space right now by deleting existing data.i have tried deleting more than 50000 members profile too which were not active for last one year.
