Answering New Post Notification eMail

A lot of my users try to post to the forum by answering (by mail) the "New post notification email".

Is there a way to make this work?

I seriously doubt it, as they need to be logged in in order to post.

Not sure if this will work for you but others have posted getting it to work with 4.2.
