Did you change what is meant to be done in the class_core.php file
Also did you not disable plugins from config before updating?

Whenever you upgrade all of your add-ons/mods should be disabled. Try disabling them all and see if the upgrade works.
Most of them won't work with vB4 anyway.

Come on now. I need a solution to this, not a reason why not to upgrade.

Come on now. I need a solution to this, not a reason why not to upgrade.Hey friend - all these problems "upgrading" are trying to tell you something - a harbinger of the problems to come.
What was the compelling reason for the "upgrade?"
I implore you - stop it now if it's not too late.

30,000+ vB4 installations getting hacked and defaced recently doesn't give you pause?

Where's the rant? I am merely giving you very good advice about version 4. And asking what is the compelling reason for going to it. No one's ever been able to answer that.

LOL @ Max
Maybe it's just me - but I"m thinking since there are so many 4 versions before 4.2.2 - maybe you could upgrade to an early version - then upgrade those once you get it successfully to 4? This is just a clueless person throwing advice to the wind - :) But I wonder.
I had a botched upgrade from the previous version to the latest because of some memory requirements changes that came with the newest version. I can only imagine that there are a whole host of system requirements that have changed between the two versions.... is your PHP up to date?
