Greetings,
another mod I'm looking for and it really seems like it should be here somewhere I'm just not finding it probably.
I'd "really really" like a quick-link that automatically, just displayed the "next unread message". As an admin and moderator, I really find that I like to "look at" nearly every post, but during busy times, I end up "marking forum read" just because re-searching and scrolling to the bottom of the 3rd page takes WAY more time than I have to dedicate to a volunteer project while working.
I know sometimes I'd abuse it :) and just skim through, but most likely I'd notice if some discussion was spiralling out of control, and the hair and nails where were starting to fly.
Seems like someone must have done this already. I'm not a PHP coder at all, so wouldn't know where to start but I'd think (it "sounds in my head" like) select unread in reverse order, got oldest post that's not marked read. I just am not sure how to turn that into a quick link.
