Restrict category by user age

Our clan site is a multi age clan. Is it possible to have a forum category be hidden automatically if user is under 18? Or maybe have category visible but gives them an error if they try to access the category if under 18. Thanks in advance!!

You can create a hook in forumdisplay and showthread and restrict access to users if their age is < 18. That should mostly cover it I think.

Seems like this one still works in vB4 even though it is for vB3.8
