What does 'Marking As Installed' do ?
* It helps you to stay on top of updates - members who have installed modifications will be notified whenever new updates are available.
* For security issues - vbulletin.org will contact all members who have installed a modification whenever a security issue is brought to their attention.
* Marking a modification as installed also helps me know how many people are using my work, giving me extra incentive to provide more features and new modifications.
I appreciate the support!

Just to clarify, this mod does not completely deletes the banned users uploaded avatars right? When ban's lifted, their own avatar will be displayed as normal.

Correct, it just overwrites it in the display.

The product was updated, so new installs will see the banned image that is default with the product.

Just installed it on a 4.2.1 installation, works like a charm ^^ Thank you!
Just a little suggestion: It should override the profile picture as well ^^

As long as it is all set up right, it should work. What type of caching you running? Did you try to flush the cache?

I got it. In your settings in the AdminCP you have:
images/avatars/banned_avatar/banned 1.gif
I changed it to the proper name:
images/avatars/banned_avatar/banned_1.gif

And the themename/misc/unknown.gif (but only for banned members, not members with no avatar!)

v1.0.1 Available
Fixed issue with wrong image name in the settings.
To upgrade, just re import the XML in the zip file, no need to upload the files to the server.
Everybody should upgrade so you will show the latest version number in your ACP.

I already tried reinstalling.. Did not work. Banned usergroup ID is 8..
Do you think its a conflict with other plugin?
I don't have mod installed that has hook in postbit..

If you want, PM me a link to the site, a admin account, a link to a post where a banned member posted, and I can look into it for you.

I installed your mod on my 4.2.2 board today and cannot get it to work. I am using your default root location for the gif file. I also changed the code as you mentioned and flushed the cache and still your mod will not work.

And are you checking the avatar in a post the banned member has made, not mistakenly looking at the profile picture? That is another error that some people do.
