I know this is obvious, but you would need to modify one of the mods, since 'Thanks/Likes' is not innate in vbulletin(3-4). A request like that should be posted in the MOD's thread.

It would be easier just to manipulate the MOD's code to auto thank the user of the post. This would probably require a minimum amount of coding.
Sorry, I cannot provide that level of code support on someone's product - it would not be ethical for me to do so. Hopefully, I have given you some possibilities.
