Hi,
My site is redirecting from /forum to /forum/
How can I remove this redirect?

The trailing / doesnt mean anything, its the same URL.
As you have vbseo installed id start there, as its going to be doing all your rewriting.

but i dont understand before 4.x it was fine... now it gives extra trailing /

Did you check vbseo & its rewrite rules as suggested?
Id also check your apache config, but the trailing / is technically the correct URL as forum is a folder, not a file.

vbseo settings are by default i cant figure out which one is it :-s
Yes its folder, main reason i asked because .com is redirected to /forum and then it redirects to /forum/
I want to reduce the number of redirects .. I should better add /forum/ instead of /forum redirect i guess, hope it wont effect Google indexes :confused:

The correct url is forum/, as its a folder not a file.
That shouldnt effect google ranks, thats also the correct & last rediect, as its tell it to go to the folder & then look for the index file.
