What version of the software? What version of PHP? Is there mod_security or suhosin installed on the server?

vBulletin 4.2.1
PHP 5.4.19
Not sure. All I know how to do server-wise is make backups. Also want to add that it started on Saturday, September 14.

#3 above, if you're unsure ask your host then reply back, the reason Lynne inquired is because those can sometimes cause an issue if too aggressively configured.

GThe issue is php 5.4. You'll need to wait for 4.2.2 or try to upgrade to it. The script on George's blog would be good too.

Thanks, Zachery.

Now that you mention it, it stands out. Bluehost must have updated us sometime early Saturday morning. We were running 5.2 previously

We can wait. It's not a huge inconvenience. From what I've heard, other people had worse things going on.

You should use George's script if you have ssh access, it'll fix up vB4 to be compat with php 5.4 until 4.2.2 is out.
