Adding tabs to vb 4.0.0?

I would like to add some tabs at the top of my forum just like the "home" & "what's new" tabs. How would I go about doing this?

The easiest way by far would be to upgrade to 4.1 and use the new navtab manager. Else you'll have to add code which will break once you upgrade.

Yeah I would upgrade to the latest stable vB4 version 4.2.1

I tried 4.2 but had a lot of issues with it. So 4.1 had the navbar manager?

I think so. But I really don't see what issues you would have with 4.2 that you would not have with 4.1, too. Anyway - fix those issues now. You'll have to upgrade sooner or later for support of current PHP versions.

The Navigation Manager wasn't added until 4.2.0. There have been sooooo many bug fixes since 4.0.0 that I really wouldn't recommend running 4.0.0 at all. If you use a version that doesn't have the Navigation Manager, then check out the vB4 Articles forum for articles on how to add more navtabs.
