I'd just like to get some advice on this in case I make some sort of enormous blunder.

You can see in the picture below, that I have an empty white space on the right hand side of my forum:

I want to know what Stylevar/ X's and Y's I should use to move ONLY the right side of the forum toward the right.

I made a mess of things once when trying to align my forum as I liked it, and thought I'd ask the VB crew before I jumped out of the frying pan.

Thanks a lot.

And I meant parameter, not diameter.

Link to site? I can't "inspect element" on a picture... well I can but its simply gonna say:

<span class="aimgbox" title="" onclick="window.location.href='http://i.imgur.com/g7idxKj.png';return false">
<img class="aimg" border="0" alt="" src="http://i.imgur.com/g7idxKj.png">
</span>

Provide a site link, we can then view the code and see what you've done to get that far then recommend a solution.

Despite moving this to fit the right side, on higher resolution (wider screens) you're going to have tons of white space either way. Would it not be beneficial for you to add images down the right side too and centerize the whole page?

Use my little mod here to add banners or images to both your sides and it should fix that issue:

Make sure you also resize your header's background image to fit within your main body's width.
