I'm worried about a possible error I made.

I added a Chatbox to my forum and I wanted it to show in a tab as opposed to the home page. So where it says: "Show ChatBox on pages (comma separated THIS_SCRIPT locations)
Blank to show on all pages (not recommended because of server load)" I typed in "tab" as opposed to "index". Will this cause server issues? Because now I have a Chatbox tab but I'm worried because I wasn't sure if this was a legitimate tag or not.

Which chatbox? Please link us to the thread here on vb.org, in fact there may already be an answer to this in the thread or readme instructions included in the mod. When you say "legitimate tag or not" what do you mean by that?

I'm guessing this is the VSA chatbox? Well "tab" isn't a possible value for THIS_SCRIPT so it will be ignored. Does it show on all pages? If so you will have a huge bandwidth problem. You want it on only one or two pages.

So what do I put in to make it show on only one?

Also I don't get what you mean by showing on all pages.

That is what it looks like. I did the experiment again with the "THIS_SCRIPT" value being left blank and it just appeared on the homepage.

I have a pretty old version that I've changed a lot over the years so I don't remember what some of the settings did. If it shows only on the forum home page and that's where you want it, just leave it alone. Questions like this should be addressed in the product thread.

It shows in a tab where I want it. My biggest worry is the possible server/bandwidth overload. Since I didn't leave it blank and typed in a possibly inaccurate tag, will I have server issues still? I didn't want it to be shown on the homepage, but in a tab on the forum.

Log on to your server and look at the bandwidth graphs. The bandwidth problem comes up when you have it on a lot of pages. If it's never shown on any page other than the home page it won't be a problem.
