HI CAN ANY ONE HELP PLEASE I tryed installing this about 8 times and still get the same message

The table name is "announcement". No "s" at the end

If the hack you installed isnt creating the table announcements for you, then you need to find out why its not doing it or create it manually via mysql or phpmyadmin, as your running mysql 5.5.xx, that hack may be to old to have the correct syntax for the table creation.

TABLE_PREFIX . 'announcement' is part of the original vB database. It's not a hack.

@ninjamaster: You should now be getting a different error message. There is no "id" field in the table, you need "announcementid" instead of "id" in both places.

If you actually read the db error he posted, you would note the referring script isnt a vbulletin script & in fact a hack.

Kinda a dead give away when the table is called "tmnt_announcements"

competitions.php isn't a standard vB file but I don't know if it's trying to query the forum announcements or some announcements of its own in its own table.

I would assume "tmnt_" is just the normal TABLE_PREFIX for the whole forum.

But maybe you're right and it's supposed to have its own announcements table and the install code didn't create the table.

If that works, you are going to have to do that for all tables created in the modification where the engine type is specified.

You are getting that after running the query I posted or what? If changing it to ENGINE worked, then as I said, you will need to do this for all the queries where the engine is specified.
