Hello vB.org,

I've gotten an issue ever since i changed my email on vbulletin.com approxly 6 months ago, and i havent been able to use vB.org ever since properly, due to the emails.

It keeps stating that it doesnt recoginize the email, and you may say it takes an hour, well i've waited 6 months.

Can anyone help me?

Chivava,

You are currently showing up as unlicensed.

To be able to download modifications and/or receive support here at vBulletin.org, we ask you to please click here (http://members.vbulletin.com/membersupport_priority.php) (vB-Germany users click here (http://members.vbulletin-germany.com/membersupport_priority.php)) and enter your email address. You will need to use your customer number and password (which will be in the email you got when you paid for your license) to access that page. Please note that your email is case sensitive.

To protect our customers privacy you will also need to Opt-In to license validation for all Support Sites. You must authorise vBulletin.org in order to validate your license status here. You can do this at the page linked above for your distributor. Make sure to set the permission to allow vBulletin.org to validate your status.

The update of your account can take up to one hour.

Thank you.

Hello Lyhne,

Im sorry but even after doing that, it still hits me with unlicensed. I have changed the email but it does not show up, and im using the ''Owners email''.

Arent you able to manually verify this, as it worked out previously when I had the .com email instead of .dk, I got it changed by vBulletin support, as I couldn't remember the login for the email.

Are you getting the "Activation Email" after you changed your email address here? If you don't get that email and follow the activation instructions nothing past that point will work.

You are currently not using an email that is associated with any customer account.

Dear VB.org, I changed my email as I forgot my old email/vb.org account and did everything you have specified above. it still shows as unlicensed to me as well. I can send a Mod/Admin proof of my vbulletin order page along with proof that everything is clicked to validate my email with vb.org.. I still have shown up as unlicensed and it has never taken this long(that I can remember).

P.S: Not hijacking the thread. Just though it'd be better to post here that I am having the same problem then opening up another thread on the same issue.

P.S.S: On the vbulletin site near my license it says Inactive,3.6.8 I paid for this software for Life. However, not the continued up-dates and support as. I do not like VB4/5. So, I prefer to remain at 3.6.8. I do not currently have my forum installed on my website though is this the problem? Or, is the problem that I need a Active currently paying Vbulletin.com account. As, if this is the case that is kinda crap. as I do not want to pay for Vbulletin 4 or 5 as I do not like either of them.

Your valid license will allow you to post on .org and .com if you follow the directions.

Nevermind to previous message. Right after I posted this message just now it went away and it says Licensed.

Thank you for you help!

Guess Vbulletin.com's validity servers are running slow.
