I'd rather not have avs for them to choose as per see but be able to upload one direct from their computer of url as per the option you get within your user cp options.
If this possible to add to this mod?

Error 500
When avatar category id 1 is selected, Reg. page works and shows no avatars. When category ID 3 is set (mine has id 3), i see 500 error page on registration page. I tested it on 2 vbulletin boards.
Here is how to discover "Avatar Category ID":
Go to administration, in menu click "Avatars", then "Avatar Manager", click "Edit" near category you want to use, then you will be able to find ID of that category (on the top, usually "3").
Mod author: you shoud mention how to discover category ID in first post. Then this post can be deleted. thanks

Simply import the new XML (allow overwrite) to upgrade
Enjoy!

Thanks,
Nominated,
Now it is really a super mod,
but if don't think as disturbing little more changes also can be done.
Now you have given 3 options
can you change the order like below:
1. Choose from computer
2. Enter avar url
3. Select a category to display some predefined avatars from which you can select one.
a) Birds
b) Flowers
c) Animals
d) Electronics
(Listing the available categories) after selecting the categories
displaying the default number of Avatars in that category.
Thank you for the excellent mod.

How i translated all plugin phrasses into another language
Its in XML installation file and then in datastore mysql table. When tried to edit in mysql, it told some invalid value error always. and from now on an error "Warning: array_merge() [function.array-merge]: Argument #1 is not an array in [path]/includes/init.php on line 313" appeared on every page. So what i did is edited XML file, just these lines:
Please select an avatar for your profile
Option 1 - Select a pre-defined avatar:
rest able to edit in Phrasse manager in vB
and reinstalled plugin with overwriting option enabled. My plugin setting remained as it was and it fixed the error and also now i have all phrasses in my language.

How hard would it be to make it require a profile photo on registration? I would love this even more.

I'd finally figured it out. In all reality probably the simplest thing to install, but to my ignorance I just didn't realize I'd have to go to the 'Options' after after importing xml. :o
Thank you very much for replying!

Where would I need to go to modify the avatar registration so it only allows you to upload an avatar instead of selecting pre-defined ones.

Quick question, does anyone know how to activate the upload option in "user settings to upload any picture/avatar?"
As for the mod it works, now from my reading this plugin/mod will force new users to upload a avatar or they can't register?
Thanks,

For some reason the force user avatar on registration option is not working. Is there a section under edit templates that I can use to re-enable this feature. (It is enabled through options - select avatar)
