Trying to make these changes for 3 months with no help.

I am attempting to change the Status icons and buttons with no success at all. I haveasked here, read other Forums with the same questions (And no viable answers), watched the youtube vbulletin videos (vBulletins videos on Status icon changes are not what I want, I do not want a different icon for each child forum), and tried trial and error. Nothing works, regardless of style or icon images.

I know I am doing something wrong or it "should" work. So here is what I tried. First everything I have read and watched.

This is where I am at.

*Download and open image .zip file, move the folder to desktop.

* Using filezilla uploading images to styles -> blackstealth -> statusicons

* Refresh

Nothing shows up.

Anyone know what I am doing wrong or have a correct video on how to do it correctly I would certainly appreciate it.

You won't see the changes until you clear your browser cache if the image files have the same name.

What would I do about that?I would have to look at the templates to figure out what is going on, but for now if you don't have any other template mods on that style I would re-upload the XML for it and set to overwrite... Make sure you have everything script-wise it's supposed to have.

There are styles that don't use statusicons. This might be one of those.
