I am thinking about adding an image to the postbit_userinfo_background and i was wondering if anyone has done this and if there are any issues i need to look out for, like what would happen if a member clicked the thanks/likes arrow and it expands to show the stats, will the image just expand or would it just remain the same.

Here is something i made up so you would understand what i meant.

Any help would be great,thanx

I have not done this, but it is an interesting idea, not that it would work on my forum. You should be able to write the CSS up to work either way -- at least for newer browsers. You might have to make some decisions for older browsers. I say give it a go and I will help you work out the kinks. This should be an easy project... except picking out the pictures, I am terrible at that.

We might have to add a wrapper for the image in the template. I did not take a look at the template, because I was unsure if you ran any mods that changed the default template -- that will definitely come into play.

I really need to subscribe to your forum. I am a big football nut.

Join up brother, use Ba'al as a referral.
The reason i ask is because in the variable templates for it you can add an image and i was hoping it was something as easy as adding the image lol but i will have to look further into it.

I didnt run any Mods i just created an image within an image and overlaid it.

I will definitely join this evening. New season is on it's way.

There might be a simple way. I really am not a stylevar guy. I tend to go right around them for custom stuff.

Pass me a copy of a sample image and tell me if your using any postbit mods that do a search and replace on the template. I can at least set you up with a outline on how to make it work if the simple stylevar change doesn't do the job.

That should work as long as your images are setup properly for the space given them. Are you worried about older browsers like IE8? Although I use Photoshop daily, it is not my thing -- so I tend to use CSS to handle a lot of my picture problems. The correct picture for the job is always the right way to go. but I am just to lazy for that.
