Hi,
I was very interested in the VBSeo, Crawability software after seeing it on another forum. The link led me to their website:
http://www.vbseo.com/purchase/
Yet when I called the toll free number, it is no longer in service. 1(888)777-1318
I also tried to do live chat, and it said the account is not active. Most people in the VBseo support forum are talking to each other, but there is no word from the owners. I also can't find a U.S. mailing address for this company.
Does anyone know if this is a big scam?

They're effectively out of business, vBSEO as a product is not what it once was, and its not required for any site to operate.

Thanks for your reply. I see other forums are still using it though. I thought it was still effective because these forums are relatively new and finding success.
Are there any products out there similar to vBSEO?

So because other forums install addonX you HAVE to install addonX?
What do you WANT vBSEO for, what do you NEED it for?

Really? LOL nevermind.
I thought it would be useful to at least know about vbSEO alternatives. Sheesh.

You didn't answer the question, why do you want or need an "seo" addon.
Content is king, without it, no seo addon in the world is going to make your site rank high.
lots of sites have done INSANELY well with no fancy urls, or other options with the default code. So that is why I ask, why do you want or need vbseo, or another seo addon?

I didn't answer because your condescending tone distracted me.
I didn't plan on buying vbSEO right away. You shouldn't assume. But once I built up content/posts, I wouldn't mind having it. Which is why I wanted to know which ones others' recommend.

Proven results based on what I can't get into on a public forum. I know the owner but I'm not sure if she wants me to discuss her forum like this. We discussed it and she suggested it based on the results, but now it looks like the company is a little sketchy Maybe I should send you a pm (to explain whose forum I'm talking about)?

What happens on one site, will not necessarily happen on another site.

Thank you, Zachery. Although the inverse may be true as well, I greatly appreciate your deep insight.
Anyway Lynne or Zachery (or any other mods), you may delete this thread, as it probably lost all usefulness and Zachery was kind enough to provide compelling support and answer all of my questions.
Thanks! :)
