View Full Version : Annoying issue with navigation links!

Since changing the vbulletin_message in phrase manager, the navigation links below the tabs in my navbar now automatically drop down when the cursor scrolls over them.

What is that!?

And no, it never happened before I edited the vbulletin_message. It began to happen immediately after.

For anyone with advice/experience/solution, here is the link to my forum as an example:

How on earth does this happen?

Now, after trying to fix the issue through the ACP, I've noticed that all of the stylevars in the navigation section have changed to black, without the code for the corresponding colour having changed.

See here:

WTF!?

It has now happened to every edited stylevar in my default theme!

Make that all themes! I use 4 separate themes over 4 separate forums. Please, hook me up here. I didn't pay $250 for this.

Now the Chat Box has shut down.

Try disabling your modifications/plugins and see if you still have this problem.
Note: To temporarily disable the plugin system, edit includes/config.php and add this line right under <?php

define('DISABLE_HOOKS', true);

Thanks very much for replying, Lynne. This'll be the first time I've entered any code through the CSS, so I'll be back briefly.

Cheers.

I'm a busy dude, and don't have the technology. I'd hate to make other busy people's days busier for my sake, by making the issue worse.

This isn't entered code through any of the CSS templates. This is adding a line to your /includes/config.php file via ftp.

You, sir, are legendary.

I just don't even know what to say. vBulletin should be paying you in booty.
