Thread view options on every page

I'm wondering if itws possible to have the 'Thread View Options' that are in User CP > Edit Options, to appear on every thread page
(eg next to 'new thread' button or at top below the 'database title > forum name' info)

The actual options that would be usefull are:-

Show user's avatar in their posts? yes no
Show image attachments and [img] code in Posts?

Having this on every page would make it much easier than having to go into User CP everytime.

Is it just a case of adding the correct html from the user cp page to a thread view template, or am i being daft?
