I have no idea why I am receving this error. I just installed my forums, made everything correctly and I was testing PayPal as a guest for the donation page (payments.php), and its giving me this:

Here are the PP settings:

And when I test it, its saying it is working completely fine?

Can someone please tell me what I am supposed to do to fix this? Could it be because I am not logged into my account?

it says the reason on the error

I'm asking you, is it because I am not logged in or is it an error on my part.....

You have the wrong type of PayPal account for the transaction you are attempting. It's down to how you've set up your paypal account..etc not your forum.

I have the wrong type of paypal account? What do you mean? I'm using the same PayPal account I have always used...?

I have never received this error... I don't know whats wrong.

If you are using vbulletins standard payment gateway you shouldn't have a problem, if you are using someone elses then you'll need to get in touch with them, if you look at PayPal TOS....etc you'll see taht you need a certain type of account to be able to take or make certain transactions, also if you've hit your limit with them then that could also cause an issue.

It wasn't any of the issues you guys stated above. It was because I had the tick clicked for "reoccurring".

I'm stupid. Fixed this issue on my own. Close please.

I have that option clicked and it works for me so you still have a problem
