We are proud to announce the release of vBulletin 5.0.3. With this release we have made it a point to target performance issues within the software, as well as stability issues. We would like to encourage all users on vBulletin 5.0.x to upgrade to this release as soon as possible.
This release also addresses issues with pagination that some customers were having, in order to fully resolve the issue after upgrading you need to login to the Administrator Control Panel and run the Rebuild Topic Information tool under Maintenance -> General Update Tools.
Some of the specific areas we have worked on are as follows:
Improved page load performance.
Improved upgrade process to fix missing or incomplete data import.
Removed obsolete phrases from the language file.
Implementation of history for Ajax loaded content. This includes Forum Topic pages, Forum/Category Channel pages and Blog Homepage. This enables the browser history to work properly in these cases.
Fixed a number of issues affecting non-English languages, including removal of hardcoded phrases.
vBulletin 5.0.3 includes updates and fixes covering 359 issues. Including:
