How can I show location on posts?

I wish to mimic the functionality of this site:

www.algaescrubber.net

which under the "Registration Required Information" section (when registering) has a field for entering your country / location.

Then, this information displays on each post (check out a few posts)

Any idea how I do this? I'm running VB4.2.0 P3 (going to upgrade to 4.2.1 when I have time)
