Post and Send Emails

I was once an SMF user (but I came to the good side finally ;) ) and on SMF I had a feature I rather liked..

when making a post I had the option to not only submit and post that post to the board, but I could select to announce it and send it via email to selected user groups.

Do we have a mod that will allow me to do this?

Not that i ever seen, you can post up a request in the free mod section & hopefully get a response from a coder or you can post in the paid job forum & get some one to make it for you.
