I have RSS Feeds set to post to a certain forum, but when the feed posts instead of pulling 10-25 items it only picks 1 or 2 items randomly and then ignores the remaining posts.

If I reset the last checked time- same thing.
Yes, the username has permission to post in the forum.
If I set it to check the Feed at different intervals, like 2 hours or 4 hours- same issue.
there are no errors in the error logs
maximum items to fetch set to unlimited
nothing is entered in the search items for words field- so it should pull everything, there are no limitations hereIf I run the cron job, it simply shows:

RSS Poster Robot
RSS Feed Manager
Done

But when I go to the scheduled task log, no new posts show.

This is on an active forum with an average of 3,000 guests/members at any given moment.

In the RSS Feed Manager- when I click on the feed and double check it, then click preview feed- it all shows perfectly, but when the cron runs, Nothing ever posts, or if it does actually post, it will only post 1 item out of 20.

I've tried creating different usernames for each and every feed & double checking permissions, didn't work.

How do you get the rss poster to pull more than 1- 2 items from feeds that have 25 items??

**Update** in going through the logs, out of 25 feeds, it will only pull 3 random items (Maximum) from any given feed. It never returns ANY errors at all.

*BUMP* So no one has any ideas? Is there a chance it's set by username, so if you have multiple feeds being posted from the same username it won't update?

This occurs on a clean install test site of vb 3.7 & 4.2 = which incidentally was a p.i.t.a because I had to keep "visiting" it to get them to run. It pulls the 8th, 9th & 10th items from the feeds only then stops.

I have this message tagged. When I get around to looking at the RSS code again I will check this out and report back. I should be able to give you some code that you can use to diagnose this.

Pass me the link to the RSS feed in case it is a timing thing. I have three other requests before I can get to looking at this problem.

25 feeds? I'm guessing a php timeout or something like that is going on. If you disable all but five feeds, then does it work?
