Why use, vBSearch Log?
Myself, as alot of members on here, have at times wanted to know what the members or guests are searching for on our sites. vBSearch Log logs every search query made on your forum after installation. Useful to see what the members or guests are searching for on our sites.

Lets say you run a site that is about cars. You look in the search log and see that there is quite a few searches for Corvette Stingray. Now you look on your forums and see there is not to much information about Corvette Stingray. So what you could do is find some info to post in your forums about that.

Lets say you run a site that is about gaming. You look in the search log and see that there is quite a few searches for Borderlands 2. Now you look on your forums and see there is not to much information about Borderlands 2. So what you could do is find some info to post in your forums about that.

So in theory, by adding missing information about such things should, retain your existing members and get guests to register, cause members and guests found what they are looking for, and have no need to go look elsewhere.

What does 'Marking As Installed' do ?

* It helps you to stay on top of updates - members who have installed modifications will be notified by us whenever new updates are available.

* For security issues - vbulletin.org will contact all members who have installed a modification whenever a security issue is brought to their attention.

* Marking a modification as installed also helps us know how many people are using our work, giving us extra incentive to provide more features and new modifications.

We appreciate the support!

I got that too but the first time I tried to install my database glitched at the same time so I thought it was that LOL and just used the sql in the 100.php file to create the table myself :P

Lol cool, but you should still import the new xml, so if yo happen to uninstall the mod, the table gets removed.

Did you uninstall the mod first? If no you need to do so in order to activate the installer.

It would be nice if this addon would show the X top search queries in the last Y days. I have too many active users to keep track of such logs.

It don't do that at this time, but it is something that can be look into for future versions.
