On my old VB 4..10 forum ( i closed it down but have just started it back up ) I had a MOD where I could select what countries were able to view my forum. This MOD helped keep out spammers from those countries where most of the originate from.
I am also having an issue with a spammer trying to log in to every single members account. Its at about the same time all day, I have since blocked the IP but it will get annoying having to manually block an IP all the time
