Yep, that is the problem with vb4. Different devices have different presentation code. It gets a bit difficult to write a mod for a modern web environment. Some interfaces use the API, some use the vb mobile code and then there is the regular desktop presentation view. It is why there is a need for a vb5. Same presentation code, but different views -- all through the same developers API.

It could be something we could add in... nice idea. :)

It may well have issues with TapaTalk. I'll take a look at what we can do to stop it showing in some way. It's been tricky integrating the BBCode properly as it has some inherent limitations. A few ideas to try though. Will keep you posted. Thanks for highlighting the issues. :)

No, not at the moment. :)

I am just commenting on why it probably does not work on this wonderful free first version 1.0 of dbtechs code. I haven't used Tapatalk since we have our own mobile interface. How does it interface to vbulletins code?
Hear, hear! vB5 has a lot of potential. Been fun to start learning to code in it as well. :) Not quite sure personally how they all integrate... (TapaTalk and ForumRunner), but will see what we can do about it. :)

Looking forward to see enable / disable per usergroup :)
Plus, I have a suggestion, which is to notify the tagged user through the notification panel with a link to the post which he's tagged in.
Possible?
Thanks!

The notification has been mentioned before. I'll see what we can do about including it in the next major update. I've got a couple of fixes I need to sort out soon, and once I've completed a couple of other tasks, I'll look into it again. :)

This seems to be quite interesting. Will this also hide messages within archive and Tapatalk? Just making sure, as the other "hide" mod here on vb.org refuses to work with tapatalk and it shows the message(s) regardless.

This should keep all messages hidden as they are stored separate to posts in the database and only inserted when necessary. It's not possible to edit or write new posts containing hidden text in Tapatalk, it get's stripped out.

Thanks as always to everyone for their feedback and suggestions.
Additional feature suggestions:
- PM in posts @ Entire Usergroup(s).
- Limit use of this BB code on a per forum & usergroup basis.
^ I think this Mod would be pretty useful, if only Moderators were allowed to use it.
- Make X users and/or usergroups immune on a per forum & usergroup basis.
So basically, that user/usergroup should be able to see the full post regardless.

Unfortunately we are unable to take feature requests from vBulletin.org, would it be possible for you to re-post these in separate threads @ our site?
That way, they are entered into our system and we can revisit them in the future :)
Thanks!
