Another feature suggestion: Add buttons to newreply and newthread that allows you to import the data from your notes. For example, note number 3 is a note telling users that they need to enter their license info at vbulletin.com. If kier finds a user requesting help without having their license info put in then all he needs to do is click the note #3 button and press submit. Perhaps add it to the left column of the 'Your Reply' row?

My initial problem was that I thought your 'installer' would install the hack automatically, a sentiment I see others shared as I scrolled through the thread. Instead of calling it an installer, maybe call it Install Walkthrough? :p

Well you should know how to uninstall it from your Templates and PhP's. Use PhPMYADMIN to take it out your DB. Thats what i did.

Well, after reading every post in this thread, ,I see that several people installed this hack and did not get the configuration options in the ACP. Those of you who have the Admin Control Panel option to configure the vBPad, can you please tell us how to add the options to our ACP??

I have read and re-read every post here and did the same on the hack installation instructions and nowhere is it mentioned about putting the opting in the ACP so we can configure the blasted thing.

Please help a guy out will you.

There should be a link called vBpad in your vBulletin Options. That is where you make the changes.

Does anyone know the queries I need to run to set the max number of notes allowed and the max characters allowed for each usergroup in the database for this? I can figure out the rest if I can get that part done.

The link will show up after you have run the install file. There is no manual changes that you need to make to any files in the admin folder of vbulletin.

The link in your admin panel shows up because of the queries that installer runs and adds.
If you ran the installer correctly you should find a link in your vbulletin admin panel under Vbulletin Options that shows the settings.

Either run the installer again or open the original file and look around line 35 where it says

### Start install db ###

Below that is a list of the queries that are added into your database to make this work.

Example :

will vbpad work on vb 2.3? and upcoming vb 3.0?

I tried the install using phpmyadmin or something like
that, and tried to import, and it came up with
an SQL error, the install directions are not very
clear as i do not have that much experiance with this.

i installed vbpad, i am sure i done it correctly, but when it is ran, it only shows a blank screen... its funny, i setup proarcade also, when i run that, it also shows a blank screen...

any ideas?

vb3 has a usernote options, but the default template has no link to that, you can make use of that for your member,
