Change color of this row?

What part do I need to edit to change the color of this?
i need to change row 1 and row 2. in forumhome and forumdisplay

in admin cp got to style manager
select Style Variable Editor
scroll down until you see forums
change First Forum Row Background and Forum Row Background

only changes first row.not second row color,and 3rd color..
i need to change, 1st,3rd,5 row same color.

did you change both?

First Forum Row Background is for the first one
and Forum Row Background is for all the others

i don't think that is possible. You can only change the first and all of the others.
