Usergroup Access Mind Twist

Cant find a solution for my access settings.

When I activate a subscription for User1:

SubscriptioN: user1 (Registered Usergroup) >>> gets in to the (Upgraded Usergroup) after Subscription

then

Promotion auto sets: If (Upgraded Usergroup Users) and If 1 Month registered then >>>> gets to (VIP Usergroup)

Now User1 is in (VIP)

Now the issue is If the subscription expires.. User1 should be set back to (Registered Usergroup).

But he doesnt.. User1 still stays in VIP Usergroup.

How can I get User1 to automically get back to Registered Usergroup?

In comparison if Without promotion: Subscription expires: User1(Upgraded Usergroup) > User1(Registered Usergroup)
That works fine.. its just when I set a user to a different Usergroup after subscription it wont revert it back

When you do the promotion to VIP, why not just have that as a Secondary Usergroup? I think that will work. However, when subscription ends, they will still be in that secondary usergroup, but they won't be in the Upgraded usergroup any longer. Could make Upgraded usergroup allow secondary usergroups and Registered users not allow secondary usergroups and then I think this will all work fine.
