Template not updating?

Hey,
so i got this problem that, whenever i do changes to the header template in my current theme,
it does not update it on the site at all. I "Save and reload" after editing and the code i've added is still there, but when i reload the site, nothing happens.

The thing is, it works in other styles, just not in my current one.

What happened here?
Help me out guys!

I can't think of why that would happen. If you have a custom style, is it possible that it's not using the header template?

This is a just-in-case suggestion: If you have made the modification to the header template to a parent style and then by accident modified a child style on the header template, it will not propagate.

I am sure you know this... but, this has caused me a short-term headache now and then without noticing it.

For example:

Default style
Parent Style - Mod Engineering Style Layer < - - Modified Header Here (Desired)
Parent Style (Dark)
Dark Style 1
Dark Style 2
Parent Style (Light)
Light Style 1 (Child) < - - Accidentally Modified Header Here (thus the desired modification will not propagate)
Light Style 2


Like I said might not be your problem, it is basic, but it is worth another check. Otherwise clear all caches.
