Can the default for new registrations to receive e-mail from other members be set to yes instead of the current no?
Brian.

If it's a checkbox find where the input is and put checked="checked" in the code.

Hello I'm the designer for his site. I looked in the templates what I found in the register template was this:
{vb:raw checkedoff.adminemail}
Was there somewhere else I needed to look? If its hard coded in the php file which one do I need to look at? register.php?

Yeah it would be in there.
It's worth trying checkedon.admin email though, maybe they defined a variable for both :p.

Hmmmmm seems there is no varible in the register.php for
{vb:raw checkedon.adminemail}
Also all the check boxes are already set to checked="checked". So this might not be possible without some php changes in the hard code.
